Love is in the air for Prince Jackson, who has announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Molly Schirmang.

The 28-year-old eldest son of the late Michael Jackson shared the joyful news with fans on Instagram, posting a heartfelt tribute to his new fiancée alongside a series of photos from their eight-year relationship.

“Eight years down ♾️ [infinity] to go. Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories,” Prince wrote. “We’ve travelled the world, graduated and grown so much together. I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives as we continue to grow and make great memories. I love you babs.”

In one sweet snapshot, Prince kissed Molly in a park as she proudly displayed her sparkling new ring. Other photos captured their adventures together, from hiking and kayaking to their college graduation.

Perhaps the most touching image showed the couple seated with Prince’s grandmother, Katherine Jackson, outside Hayvenhurst, the iconic Encino family estate.

The engagement post was set to Michael Jackson’s 1987 ballad I Just Can’t Stop Loving You – a fitting soundtrack for the occasion. Fans quickly flooded the comments with warm congratulations and well wishes for the happy couple.

Prince has largely kept his relationship with Molly out of the spotlight, but has been open about honouring his father’s legacy. In past interviews, he’s spoken of keeping his father’s photos and artwork in his home, and of living by the King of Pop’s guiding principle: “I like to lead my life with love… I try to help at least one person a day.”

Now, as he and Molly step into their next chapter together, it’s clear that love remains at the heart of his story.
