Kylie Lim has given the public its first glimpse of her intimate Italian wedding to billionaire James Packer, with a new photograph revealing the newlyweds together following their private ceremony in Sardinia.
The Canadian-born former model and New York socialite, 46, married Packer, 58, last week in a closely guarded celebration off the northeast coast of the glamorous Mediterranean island.
The newly released wedding image shows Lim in a floor-length white lace gown and short veil, carrying a bouquet of pale pink roses – along with the couple’s small tan dog, Waffle.
Beside her, Packer opted for a considerably more relaxed take on traditional wedding attire, wearing a charcoal suit with an open-neck white shirt, sunglasses and a floral boutonniere.
The pair posed aboard Packer’s enormous superyacht IJE, which reportedly played host to the celebrations and had been decorated with garlands of pink and white flowers for the occasion. The luxury vessel has been valued at around $280 million.
The wedding itself was reportedly a deliberately intimate affair, attended by a small circle of family, friends and longtime associates. Hollywood producer Brett Ratner, a former business partner of Packer, was reportedly among the guests.
It marks Packer’s third trip down the aisle and is believed to be Lim’s first marriage.
The couple’s relationship stretches back almost a decade. They met through mutual friends in Aspen, Colorado, in 2017 and dated for several years before separating in 2020.
They rekindled their romance last year and became engaged in March, with the pair wasting little time before deciding to marry during Packer’s annual European summer holiday.
Packer has previously spoken warmly about Lim and the support she provided during some of the most difficult periods of his life.
In his biography The Price of Fortune, Packer described himself as fortunate to have Lim in his life, calling her “a good person” and “a really good partner”.
Their Sardinian ceremony came shortly after the pair attended the wedding of Packer’s niece Francesca Barham in Mallorca, Spain.
Packer was previously married to model Jodhi Meares and later to Erica Baxter, with whom he shares three children, Indigo, Jackson and Emmanuelle. He was also famously engaged to US superstar Mariah Carey before their relationship ended in 2016.
For now, the newlyweds appear to be making the most of their Mediterranean celebrations. Following the wedding, Packer and Lim have reportedly continued cruising aboard IJE, with the yacht spotted off the Italian island of Capri this week.
