One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has recorded a podcast interview with British far-right activist Tommy Robinson during a visit to the UK.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, shared a photo with Hanson on X after the interview.

“Had a fabulous time chatting to one of the bravest lady’s (sic) on the planet,” he wrote.

“Fearless, relentless, consistent, fighting for the Australian people and hopefully the next leader of her nation, Pauline Hanson.”

Robinson is a British anti-Islam activist who co-founded the now-defunct English Defence League. He has had two speaking tours cancelled in Australia, after being denied a visa into the country and has multiple criminal convictions.

The interview comes weeks after Karl Stefanovic’s podcast conversation with Robinson, which prompted the former Today host’s axing from Nine.

Stefanovic’s interview, in which he praised Robinson’s “tenacity” and “courage”, was removed shortly after publication before later being reposted to YouTube by Hanson.

During her UK trip, Hanson has also spent time with former Neighbours actor Holly Valance, who has publicly backed conservative political causes in Britain.

“Nothing like a beer with your mate at the pub on a hot day,” Hanson wrote on Facebook alongside a photo of the pair.

She later shared more images of them visiting tourist attractions.

Hanson has also confirmed she will speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Britain, which begins on July 16.

“[Britain is] where the Australia we know today was born,” she wrote last month.

“I have always said we need to learn the lessons of other countries that are further down the path of multiculturalism and net-zero than we are.

“We don’t have to make the same mistakes here in Australia.”

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage is among the keynote speakers at the conference, and Hanson is also expected to meet with him during her visit.
