Farmer witnesses snake regurgitating whole antelope
<p>A South African game farmer witnessed a 3.9m python regurgitating a whole impala.</p>
<p>Farmer Jaco Kotze, was trying to move the python but was forced to abandon his attempts after he realised what the snake was doing.</p>
<p>The video was filmed last week on a property in Groblersdal, Limpopo and the video was shared with local news agency <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFfa0hFDxLw" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Netwerk 24</span></strong></a>.</p>
<p>First the python regurgitated the hooves of the animal and then the entire body of the dead antelope followed out of the snake’s mouth.</p>
<p>Jaco Kotze managed to seize the snake and measure its length with the assistance of some friends.</p>
<p>The farmer wanted to relocate the python due to the danger it posed to the livestock on his farmer.</p>
<p>It is normal behaviour for a snake to regurgitate its food when it feels threatened so it can make an easier escape. </p>
