Abbie Chatfield fires up over Sonia Kruger's Gold Logie win

Abbie Chatfield has slammed Sonia Kruger's recent Gold Logie win after accusing the TV presenter of discrimination. The Masked Singer judge expressed her disapproval of Kruger's Gold Logie win on her It's A Lot podcast, where she criticised the "disgusting" comments Kruger made about Muslim immigration in 2016. "It's very easy for white feminists to be like, "A woman won. Aren't you happy a woman won?" Yeah, no Sonia," she said. "I'm not happy that someone who made discriminatory comments on the Today show about Muslim people in 2016 won," she added. Karl Stefanovic has addressed his awkward joke at the Logies on Sunday night, which was aimed at long-running breakfast TV rival David Koch. While presenting an award at the ceremony, Stefanovic took to opportunity to rip into Kochie with the ad-libbed joke, which left the audience more bewildered than entertained. It started when Kochie confessed his fondness for the third season of Stan series Bump while speaking to the star-studded audience. Seizing the moment, Stefanovic took a comedic leap, playing on the double entendre of "bump", a term colloquially associated with cocaine. "I want to just check something... I am pretty sure before I heard Kochie say he loves Bump's... season three. Did anyone mishear that? Because I am pretty sure I did." "Anyway, those are the headlines tomorrow morning..." Stefanovic remarked, hoping for a laugh, while cameras panned to Kochie who looked utterly confused by the joke. Jackie O didn’t let her 5am start time stop her from partying all night at the Logies afterparty even if that meant she had to show up to work wearing last night’s dress. In a hilarious video uploaded to Instagram, Jackie O shared behind the scenes footage of what it was like for a celebrity to do the walk of shame into work after a big night out. The video starts off with her walking down a footpath in her red strapless gown laughing as she said "this is embarrassing". When someone asked why she was still wearing last night’s dress she sheepishly replied: “I have not been home, I had the craziest night”. The radio host shared a bunch of clips from her wild all-nighter, spliced together with time stamps. She looked like she had a great time, partying with fellow entertainers Grant Denyer and Chris Brown. At 1:53 am Brown, who was shocked that Jackie was still at the afterparty incredulously asked her: "What the hell are you doing here?" The radio host replied: “I know, I know,” but she didn’t think too hard about it as she continued to party all night, only leaving when KIIS FM intern Pete Deppeler told her it was 4am. When she got in the studio, Kyle Sandilands beamed with joy when he saw his co-star and exclaimed: “Oh my god, you’re in the same outfit?” Jackie O sheepishly repeated the same answer and told him that she hadn’t been home, to which a shocked Kyle replied, “what do you mean you haven’t been home?” She later explained on the show that she didn’t intend to have a big night out and got carried away with the festivities, all while sober. Kyle Sandilands' wild Logies conspiracy theory

Kyle Sandilands has share his wild Logies conspiracy theory, after he was forced to pull out from presenting an award, before being replaced by a famous rival. The radio shock jock was asked to present the award for Most Outstanding Children's Program while holding his 11-month-old son Otto, but decided against it at the last minute. On Friday, Kyle told listeners of The Kyle and Jackie O Show he had pulled the pin on the presenting duties after he learned how late the ceremony would go. "I've had to pull the pin. I've told them to shove it in their a**e, my exact words yesterday," he said. "My thing was, I had to bring my child out, he's not even one, and it was supposed to be at ten past eight. But they can't guarantee it won't be before 9PM." "I've got a baby, I can't be waiting around with a baby," he added. Kyle then said his wife Tegan was not thrilled about him presenting either. "My wife said, 'What does Otto get out of it? He's just a bit of arm candy for you to get on TV.' And I couldn't agree against it so I told them I'm not going." After pulling out of the ceremony at the last minute, the Logies gave Kyle's presenting role to his rival Dave Hughes. On Monday morning, Kyle shared that he thought the Logies were conspiring against him by giving the hosting gig to Hughesy, given their years of rivalry. "It was a big FU to me from producers to bring Hughesy on," Sandilands said. "I don't think there was an FU from producers," argued his co-host Jackie O. " I think they were just trying to replace you in time [for the show]." Hughesy later explained he thought Kyle would take his joke in good humour and that he even considered telling him about his material beforehand. He said, "I saw him before the show and I was almost going to tell him what I was going to say but I didn't. I should have because he wasn't happy." Sonia Kruger’s cheeky shot during Logies victory speech

The 2023 Logie Awards ceremony was filled with memorable moments, both triumphant and awkward. Sam Pang took on the role of the host, becoming the first in 11 years to do so. He kicked off the proceedings with a pointed and humorous monologue, highlighting the win for diversity as the first-ever host representing both Channel 7 and Channel 10. “I would like to acknowledge a win for diversity tonight. I am the first host in the history of the Logies to be half and half - half Channel 7 and half Channel 10,” Pang began. “Let’s be honest, it’s just be great to have an Asian on Channel 7 who isn’t trying to smuggle live birds through border security,” he continued, telling viewers to strap in for the “two-day” ceremony. Former Sunrise presenter Grant Denyer has shared a heartwarming message, just days ahead of this year's Logies. Denyer took to Instagram on Thursday to reminisce about the moment he won a Logie Award in 2018, sharing a clip of his heartfelt acceptance speech. “This still hits me in the feels five years later,” he captioned the post. He then went on to explain the deep impact winning the award had on him. “For a kid who was carrying tripods and washing the news cars in a country TV station during his school holidays ... this was the greatest moment of my professional life and I’ll cherish the s*** out of it forever. “I mean, I grew up in awe of Daryl, Bert & Rove ... and in that moment, the same shy, hardworking, big dreaming kid ... joined them 🤯. “Humbled, emotional & choc-a-block full of gratitude 🙏🏻 My cup was not only filled that day but overflowing." Hilarious moment Dr Chris Brown got punked at the Logies

Dr Chris Brown revealed the moment he got punked by an imposter at last year’s Logies. The beloved celebrity vet told the hosts of Triple M’s Mick & MG in the Morning that the prank left him red-faced and wary of whether he’ll be allowed back onto the event’s red carpet this year, despite being the co-host. “I don’t think I’ll be allowed back onto the red carpet after last year’s Logies,” he said, and joked that he was shocked the incident didn’t get out into the public. Brown recalled that he had just arrived at the event and was minding his business when he started getting “strange looks” from a bunch of people. “So I’m on the red carpet and I’m getting a lot of sideways glances and not the kind you want,” he said. “Then about sort of half an hour into it I reckon about 20 people have given me strange looks … just looking disapprovingly in my direction.” The vet was confused as to why people were giving him strange looks until Gardening Australia’s Costa Georgiadis approached him. “Costa comes up with his phone and goes, ‘Hey, look, we’re mates but I thought this was a little unnecessary’,” he said. “Someone had changed their phone name, which you can do, to Dr Chris Brown (Bondi Vet), and was air dropping topless photos of me, shots of me emerging from the surf, paparazzi photos, air dropping them to random people on the red carpet,” Brown laughed. Dr Chris Brown has jokingly called out Seven’s “stupid” decision to make him co-host of this year’s TV Week Logies red carpet. The Bondi Vet star is set to present at the red carpet alongside Sonia Kruger on July 30, but he is still unsure as to why he was chosen. “Can I just tell you, it is one of the more stupid decisions ever made by Channel 7 to put me on the Red Carpet,” he joked during his guest appearance on Triple M’s Mick & MG in the Morning on July 13. “I know nothing about fashion... and I am also colourblind,” he said, which made the radio hosts chuckle. Brown wondered how he would comment on the stars’ gowns given his condition. “The joy that I’m going to have in telling women that I love their green dress and (I’m) gonna be told it’s red... what could possibly go wrong?” he told the radio hosts. “The insulting nature of my commentary is going to be worth it.” Mick Molloy then joked that he was “going to make the carpet green” for extra laughs, to which Brown replied: “it might as well be, Micky”. 2023 Logie hot favourites revealed

The nominees for the 2023 TV Week Logie Awards have been announced, just weeks out from the night-of-nights for Aussie television and its stars. It’s the 63rd event of its kind, set to take place at Sydney’s The Star on July 30 for the first time in 27 years, with comedian and presenter Sam Pang at the helm, marking the first time in over a decade that a host has flown solo. “It’s a huge honour to be asked to host the Logies and while it will be weird not having a buzzer or beer in front of me, hopefully I’m up to the challenge,” Pang told Media Week of his upcoming role. “I feel very lucky to be a part of this industry and can’t wait for July 30 in Sydney to celebrate Australian television on its night of nights and guide viewers at home through the entire four hour broadcast.” Pang will be joined by some of the biggest stars in Australian television as audiences all across the nation look to see who’ll be taking home the coveted statues, and who’ll secure their place in the history books with this year’s Golden Logie. Nominated for the latter, the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television, are Julia Morris, Osher Günsberg, Leigh Sales, Mark Coles Smith, Shaun Micallef, Sonia Kruger, and last year’s Golden Logie winner, Hamish Blake. Lisa Wilkinson launches dispute into Logies speech advice

TV presenter Lisa Wilkinson has lodged a new submission to an inquiry into how the rape trial against Bruce Lehrmann was handled, with a focus on the circumstances surrounding her controversial Logies speech. The probe was announced in 2022 by the ACT government and was to be fronted by Walter Sofronoff KC. At the time of the announcement, it was also stressed that the probe would was about not recontesting Brittany Higgins’ rape allegation, but instead about the conduct of the criminal justice agencies. And in April 2023, news.com.au confirmed that Lisa Wilkinson had made a submission, which had not yet been made public, that outlined her experience with Director of Public Prosecutions Shane Drumgold prior to her speech at the Logie Awards - the same speech that ultimately saw the trial be delayed. As the publication noted, Channel 10 and their lawyers have disputed allegations that the DPP “expressly warned” Wilkinson against her address at the awards ceremony. This was reportedly seen in a letter leaked after the trial - one sent to the ACT Supreme Court - that saw Channel 10’s Executive Vice President Beverly McGarvey declare “neither Ms Wilkinson nor the Network Ten Senior Legal Counsel present at the conference with the DPP on June 15 2022 understood that they had been cautioned that Ms Wilkinson giving an acceptance speech at the Logie Awards could result in an application being made to the court to vacate the trial date. “Had they understood that a specific warning had been given, Ms Wilkinson would not have given that speech.” Wilkinson had been accepting an award for ‘Outstanding News Coverage or Public Affairs Report’ for her coverage of Brittany Higgins’ sexual assault allegations, and in the wake of the former The Project host’s words, the trial was delayed from June until October. Lucy McCallum, ACT Chief Justice, moved the dates “with gritted teeth” after Lehrmann’s defence team made a request following the speech and the intense media coverage that followed. “Unfortunately, however, the recent publicity [of the speech] does, in my view, change the landscape,’’ McCallum said. “Because of its immediacy, its intensity and its capacity to obliterate the important distinction between an allegation that remains untested at law. “For those reasons, regrettably and with gritted teeth, I have concluded that the trial date of 27 June towards which the parties have been carefully steering must be vacated.” Wilkinson had reportedly sought advice from DPP Shane Drumgold in 2021 to go over the evidence that she would present at trial, with a note from the meeting stating that Wilkinson had been given an opportunity to ask any questions she might have had. It was then that Wilkinson brought up her Logie nomination, though she reportedly noted that she didn’t believe she was in with a real chance of winning, as the show was being held by a ‘rival’ television network. "I struggle": Grant Denyer reveals serious health issue

Grant Denyer has opened up about his “fear of not being liked” and “not being good enough” in a candid post. The Gold Logie winner has had to resort to meditation as he continues to struggle with his mental health. He shared an image of himself meditating explaining that this is him “flawed” and how he is fighting to be more accepting of himself. “Meditation isn’t easy for me but it certainly does chill me out more. I really suffer from a racing mind that makes a hell of a lot of noise,” his post began. “My self talk can get pretty savage, I beat myself up, worry about the future, hang on to regrets about the past and get bogged down in fear. “Fear of failure, fear of not being liked, not being good enough. But I'd broken my back and my body was breaking down and I hit a wall. Grant suffered through a painkiller addiction after breaking his back in a terrifying truck accident in 2008 which left him with his vertebrae broken in 11 pieces. “I've said it before, my family saved my life. And that will be the thread that weaves this dance together. “One thing I have learnt is that it's OK to make mistakes. It’s OK to fail and that’s a part of being human. “Whilst that was a very dark period and a hard dance thing to kind of dance to, I just put one foot in front of the other and I’ve climbed my way out of that hole. “I feel a lot of healing here done tonight. Neighbours star furious over Logies snub

Ryan Moloney – who has played Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi on Neighbours since 1995 – held nothing back as he blasted the treatment of the cast from the long-running show at the recent Logie Awards. Taking to 2Day FM’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin breakfasts’ show, Moloney ripped into the awards ceremony’s efforts in acknowledging Neighbours is about to come to an end. He argued those in the "In Memoriam" segment got a better run than they did. Moloney launched a hearty rant against the award show organisers for seating the team “behind the cameras” on Sunday night, and having former cast members Daniel MacPherson and Natalie Bassingthwaighte represent the cast on stage, rather than actors who have been part of the show for decades. “We turned up, and we did our mandatory three-hour talking to people on the red carpet... When we got in the room we ended up being split up and stuck on two different tables, it was horrible!” Moloney said on air. “Our table was actually even stuck behind the cameras, we couldn’t even see the stage... So we figured we weren’t going to get a gig then,” he added. Moloney said he found the package of snippets from the show that played during the ceremony “incredibly disappointing.” Elsewhere, he suggested having Bassingthwaighte and MacPherson represent the cast on stage was an affront to the show’s veteran stars, given they were both only part of the cast for four years. “Daniel and Nat are just absolutely gorgeous people and absolutely nothing against them, but we’ve got people who have been on TV for nearly 30 years each, and I think probably the least they could do is get us to say something … I mean we’re in the bloody Hall of Fame, that’s not how you treat a show that’s in the Hall of Fame. I mean good luck to the Logies really,” he fumed. His rampage didn’t stop there: “If it’s any indication, the In Memoriam section … I mean half the people in that have worked on Neighbours … They got a better guernsey than we did.” He said that actors from the show’s rival Channel 7 soap, Home and Away, even noticed the snub, approaching the table to offer their sympathy later in the night. “The cast of Home and Away came up afterwards and said how sorry they were that we got (snubbed),” he said. In March, it was announced to devastated fans that Neighbours was coming to an end. The soap drew around 1.5 million UK viewers daily and up to 170,000 metro viewers in Australia. Serious legal fallout of Lisa Wilkinson's Logies speech

The trial of the man accused of sexually assaulting Brittany Higgins inside Parliament House has been delayed as a result of Lisa Wilkinson’s Logie Awards speech. Bruce Lehrmann is accused of sexually assaulting Higgins in 2019 and was due to stand trial in the ACT Supreme Court next week. He has pleaded not guilty over the alleged rape. However, that trial has now been delayed because of Wilkinson’s speech after she won a Logie for her reporting about Higgins’ allegations. Chief Justice Lucy McCallum told the court on Tuesday that because of Wilkinson’s speech, Lehrmann’s case was prejudged and he was entitled to a fair trial. “The case has accordingly attracted a level of attention in the media ... that while not unprecedented is certainly extreme,” she said. “Extensive media reporting of alleged criminal conduct is not mischievous in itself. “What is a potential mischief is media reporting of such issues in such a way ... it impacts the criminal case.” Lehrmann’s team then requested a temporary stay of court proceedings due to the publicity surrounding the case from the speech. “Unfortunately, however, the recent publicity (of the speech) does, in my view, change the landscape,’’ she said. “Because of its immediacy, its intensity and its capacity to obliterate the important distinction between an allegation that remains untested at law. “For those reasons, regrettably and with gritted teeth, I have concluded that the trial date of 27 June towards which the parties have been carefully steering must be vacated.” Justice McCallum slammed Wilkinson’s speech, who had already spoken to the Director of Public Prosecutions Shane Drumgold on June 15 to discuss the evidence she will present at the trial. “Notwithstanding that clear and appropriate warning, upon receiving the award, Ms Wilkinson gave a speech in which she openly referred to and praised the complainant in the present trial,” she said. “Unsurprisingly, the award, and the content of the speech, have been the subject of further commentary.” Wilkinson’s speech could be investigated and it is possible she may face legal consequences according to President of the Australian Bar Association Matthew Collin. “It’s certainly possible that the authorities will be looking at the speech that she made to the Logies and assessing that speech against the standard that applies in this branch of the law,” he said on Sunrise on Wednesday. “That standard is, did anything that she did have a tendency to interfere with the administration of justice? “You would hope that whenever the media is contemplating running a story about a serious criminal trial which is about to begin, they would be attuned to the potential risks. “The mainstream media understands the risk inherent with talking about cases which are about to go to trial, particularly serious high-profile cases. “So clearly this was ill-advised. “The concern is that potential members of the jury whose job is to apply the presumption of innocence and to focus on the evidence in the trial might be influenced by things they’ve been exposed to in the media and in social media.” Images: Instagram

Ally Langdon left red-faced at Logies

Ally Langdon has been left red-faced after the weatherman from rival breakfast show Sunrise made a dig at the ratings. Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac and the Today co-host together presented the Logie Award for Most Outstanding Reality Program during the Logies on Sunday night. Ally began with greeting the crowd before saying hello to her nemesis who then left her embarrassed. “Hello to our rival breakfast show, the Today show, possibly our fiercest rivals behind the ABC,” Sam began to a laughing crowd. Sam’s joke was in reference to The Today Show falling to third place behind both Sunrise and the ABC’s News Breakfast. He then went on to call out her co-host Karl Stefanovic who didn’t help her down the stairs despite her injury. The camera switched to a laughing Karl who was seen holding a drink and Panadol. “Sorry I stopped listening two minutes ago, what was that?” Ally asked. “We should be grateful that there's no egos in breakfast TV any more,' he replied sarcastically to which Ally just said “for sure”. Patti Newton took to the Logies stage to a standing ovation, before introducing and presenting the newly renamed ‘Bert Newton award for the Most Popular Presenter. Standing in front of an early photo of herself with her late husband, Patti spoke about her grief and how she knew Bert would always be with her. "I actually didn't think I was going to be able to do this tonight, because it is still very raw and I will never get over him not being here," she told the audience. "But I know he is with me. And here... he is inside me,” she added, going on to explain the ‘Bert’ necklace she was spotted wearing on the red carpet earlier that night. "My daughter had this Bert [necklace] made for me, so I will be wearing this forever around my neck,” Patti said “I will know who I am and when I cannot remember anymore, I will say who's that? It will be Bert." Patti reflected on her late husband’s “bravery”, the great experiences he had throughout his TV career, and one of the things he really loved. "He really did live his dream," she said, "but the one thing he really loved was this show, the Logies. This was his baby." She added that Bert had another “love”: his daughter Lauren, son Matthew, and six grandchildren. “I have been his partner for 57 years, it is a long time,” she said, prompting an eruption of applause she quickly responded to. "Thank you, but I don't need applause because I have loved every minute of those 57 years.” Patti then introduced the award named in Bert’s honour. "I've been so blessed that he chose me, and I think that's why we're so pleased that the award for the most popular presenter is going to be known as the 'Bert Newton Award for the Most Popular Presenter'," she said. "I was only thinking today, if I could just ask him how he feels about this particular award being named in his honour, and I'm absolutely certain that he would say, 'What? Not the gold, then?" she joked. To end her speech, Patti said: "He never wanted to be forgotten, so I hope he never is." She then presented the award to Hamish Blake for presenting Nine’s Lego Masters. On receiving the award, Blake said the fact that Bert “loved what he did” was something that struck him, and spoke of the late presenter’s generosity and kindness. “There will never be another Bert,” he said. Surprise favourite heading into Logies weekend

With the Logies just around the corner, debates about who could take home the Gold Logie are heating up, with gambling platforms even weighing in on who it could be. Radio star Hamish Blake has been dubbed a “shoo-in” for the award, but Sportsbet claims Channel 7’s Sonia Kruger could be tipped to nab the award instead, per <a href="https://www.news.com.au/entertainment/awards/logies/sportsbet-betting-odds-hint-sonia-kruger-is-hot-on-hamish-blakes-tail-for-gold-logie/news-story/06132b23f0f63ab0760c5d5ab77b766d" target="_blank" rel="noopener">news.com.au</a>. Though Blake is still the frontrunner, with betting at $1.80, it’s come as a drop from $1.40 over the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Kruger has gone from $6 to $4, making her the second favourite. Following close behind is MasterChef’s Melissa Leong at $5.50, with Home and Away star Ray Meagher sitting at $10 and I’m a Celeb’s Julie Morris on $11. A victory for Kruger has been a long time coming, with her 20-year career being recognised with a nomination for Most Popular Personality. Speaking to <a href="https://tvtonight.com.au/2022/06/2022-gold-logie-nominee-sonia-kruger.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TV Tonight</a> earlier in the week, the 56-year-old said it was “high time” a women nabbed the award, noting that most of the male nominees already have a Gold Logie to their name. “And it’s not a popularity contest but I did host every show on Channel 7 last year and deserve it more than everyone else,” she joked. Sportsbet’s Sean Ormerod echoed the sentiment. “Sonia would be a deserved winner if she takes home the Gold,” he said. “There isn’t much she hasn’t appeared on, Big Brother, Holey Moley, Dancing With The Stars, to name a few, and there’s no doubt her popularity with the voting public.” The 62nd TV Week Logie Awards is set to air on Channel Nine this Sunday at 7pm, with live voting for the Gold Logie open from now until the red carpet telecast. Mystery of Bert’s missing Logies finally solved

Image: Nine News Bert Newton was estimated to have won an impressive 36 Logie Awards throughout his TV career, but according to Patti, only 17 are accounted for. So what happened to the rest of them? That mystery was addressed recently on The Morning Show, during their coverage of the entertainment icon’s state funeral in Melbourne. ‘[Patti] reckons he has 36 Logies, but you can only find 17 around the house,’ said co-hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gilles. ‘There are a lot of people around Melbourne with those things on the mantelpiece thanks to Bert Newton.’ Bert passed away on October 30, aged 82, after several years of declining health. In the days following the legendary entertainer's death, his friend, entertainment reporter Peter Ford, revealed Bert had confided in him that he'd given away some of his Logies. Ford said that Bert made him promise he wouldn't report on it until after he died, and said that Bert confided to him that he'd "probably broken some kind of Logie law, they're going to come after me.' It was revealed that Bert had gifted one of his Gold Logies to a dying AIDS patient in Melbourne back in 1990. Speaking to Melbourne radio station 3AW earlier this month, Ford said that Bert had even visited the patient at the Fairfield Infectious Diseases Hospital - a place few others wanted to go. 'I went out to the hospital and there was a sort of buzz in the air. As soon as I walked in, I could tell it was a different mood and place to what it normally was,' Ford recounted of Bert's visit. Ford added that Bert had gone around the wards visiting the patients and left behind one of his four Gold Logies. Eddie McGuire also spoke about Bert giving away his Logies, recounting Ford’s story while delivering a eulogy at Bert’s funeral. ‘Peter told the story, sworn to secrecy until Bert said he’d carked it, of Bert hearing a man dying from AIDS at a time when sufferers were stigmatised and isolated,’ the 57-year-old media personality said. ‘Not only did Bert visit and spend hours with every person in the ward, but gave the man one of his beloved Gold Logies.’ 'An amazing gesture, one that lifted the morale of all in the depths of their despair, the only reward being that Bert gave those on their worst day something to remember as their best.' He added that 'Patti had never heard the story until last week', but it went 'some way' to explaining the missing Logies. 'It did, however, go some way to solve a family mystery. Bert had won some 36 Logies over his career, but the family could only find 17. Suddenly it all made sense,' said Eddie.

Tom Gleeson’s PERFECT response to Logie Awards cancellation

The 62nd TV Week Logie Awards have been cancelled for the second year in a row, with the outbreak of the Delta Covid variant to blame. The Star Gold Coast was expected to host the awards on November 28, but the outbreak and expected continuation of border closures have seen the awards get pushed. Are Media, the team organising the Logies, said the Covid situation “regrettably provides organisers with no certainty to plan ahead for a safe event for guests to attend”. The cancellation has meant the eligibility for the 2022 Logies will extend from January 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022. “We are disappointed to have to cancel this year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards after charging ahead with plans to return for a bigger than ever event on the Gold Coast this November,” Fiona Connelly of Are Media said. “Unfortunately, our current Covid cases and travel restrictions leave us no choice. But we will return to Queensland mid 2022 and promise the TV WEEK Logie Awards will bring an overdue and deserved night of glamour, celebration and recognition of Australia’s outstanding television industry.” But, not everyone was disappointed when they heard the news, with 2019 Logie winner Tom Gleeson celebrating on Twitter. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"> Finally some good news. Gold Logie winner Samuel Johnson’s health update after horror crash

Samuel Johnson’s sister has shared an update on his recovery after he was hit by a car on his way to visit family. Johnson had injuries to his heads following the incident, his sister Hilde Hinton revealed in a post to the Love Your Sister Facebook page. Hinton says her brother’s condition has left her with “no words,” after posting photos showing cuts and bruises.
