The wedding bells are getting louder for Andy Lee and Rebecca Harding, with the bride-to-be celebrating her upcoming nuptials in suitably spectacular style.
Harding has shared a glimpse inside her lavish hens’ celebrations as she prepares to marry the popular comedian and TV presenter, more than two years after the couple announced their engagement.
And if the hens party is anything to go by, this may not be a wedding inclined towards doing things by halves.
The celebrations embraced a dramatic Wuthering Heights theme, with Harding and her friends leaning wholeheartedly into the romance and theatrics of the occasion.
Harding’s show-stopping bridal look was among the highlights, with the model and entrepreneur wearing an elaborate, floor-sweeping veil that provided plenty of evidence this was no ordinary night out with the girls.
The festivities mark another milestone in what has become one of Australian entertainment’s most enduring love stories.
Lee, 45, and Harding, 35, first met at a Melbourne café in 2014, when Harding was working as a waitress and Lee asked for her phone number.
Their relationship developed away from the spotlight before the pair went public, and they have now been together for more than a decade.
Lee finally popped the question in 2024 at the couple’s Melbourne home, ending years of good-natured speculation about when he might propose.
Harding later revealed the happy news on social media, showing off her engagement ring as the couple celebrated the beginning of their next chapter.
Since then, wedding preparations have gradually gathered pace – and Harding’s hens weekend is perhaps the clearest indication yet that the big day is getting close.
For now, though, it was all about the bride-to-be and her closest friends, with Harding appearing delighted as she celebrated ahead of saying “I do”.
And with Wuthering Heights as the hens theme and a veil capable of commanding its own postcode, Andy may have been given fair warning: the bar for the wedding has officially been set rather high.
