The terrifying place this snake was found in an Australian kitchen
A frightening incident left an Adelaide family in shock after a resident found a venomous snake’s head pop up from the drain in the kitchen sink.
Snake Catchers Adelaide posted the ordeal to their Facebook page, showing the critter’s head peeking out of the drain in Coromandel Valley.
“An interesting situation to say the least,” the page explained in a video upload.
The two videos posted to the Facebook page shows the scary situation unfolding.
The long eastern brown was seen peeking from the drain it found comfort in after Cory, a snake catcher, began tapping the pipes to wheedle it out.
However, the reptile decided to remain inside the pipe, forcing the catcher to go to extreme measures.
The expert was forced to take out the entire grid from the kitchen sink in an effort to remove the hiding reptile.
After the snake was removed from the drain, Cory managed to hook the venomous snake and get it into a bag for relocation.
“It must have come up through the breather of the septic system possibly….,” the page explained.
