Melissa George has secretly welcomed her fourth child at 49, a baby boy.
The former Home & Away actress took to social media to share the news, posting a photo of her breastfeeding her newborn while in Paris.
In the photo, George can be seen cradling her baby who is wrapped up in a cream knitted blanket. The post, which her friend and former Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Kirstie Clements posted was captioned: “@melissageorgeofficial From the maternity ward, straight into a Parisian heatwave (with a toddler…challenging).
“And now to an epic road trip through Provence and the Cǒte d’Azur, first stop @hotelcrillonlebrave #superwoman #motheroffoursons! #roadtrip #provence,” she concluded.
The baby’s name or the identity of the father has not been revealed.
George shares sons, Raphael, 12, and Solal, 10, with her French ex-partner Jean-David Blanc, while her third and fourth sons are believed to have a different father, though the actress has not confirmed the identity of any new partner.
Followers took to the comments to congratulate the actress with one writing: “She makes it look effortless.”
“Melissa!!! 4? Brava!!!! Tell me everything!” another commented.
The actress previously spoke about motherhood in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald.
“Having children, for me, will go down in my life as the greatest, most victorious, thing I’ve ever done,” she said.
