Check your freezer: Woolworths announces HUGE chicken recall
Woolworths has issued a mass recall for anyone who has purchased Gluten Free Chicken Breast Schnitzel from Ingham's. The recall is for anyone who has purchased this product in stores in Victoria and was available for purchase from the 29th of March, 2019.
According to Food Standards Australia, the issue lies with incorrect packaging.

The statement reads:
“Ingham’s wishes to advise customers it is conducting a recall on the above product. The product has been available for sale at Woolworths stores in Victoria from 29/03/2019.
“The recall is due to incorrect packaging (Southern Style Tenders were packaged incorrectly in Gluten Free Schnitzel labelled tray) which has resulted in the presence of undeclared allergen – gluten.”
The food safety hazard is that anyone who has a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed. Therefore, if you do have an allergy or intolerance, it is advised that you do not eat this product.
Ingham's has advised customers that they should return the product to the place of purchase for a full cash refund. They said in the statement:
“Ingham’s apologies to their customers for any inconvenience caused by this recall and if further information is required about the recall, they are invited to contact us on: 1800 785 940.”
