Pauline Hanson’s anti-Labor fundraising blitz has topped $4 million, with the One Nation leader now preparing to unleash a fresh television ad during one of Australia’s biggest sporting broadcasts: the State of Origin.

The campaign, dubbed Fire the Liar, has drawn thousands of donations in just days and will now bankroll a broad advertising push aimed squarely at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and senior Labor ministers.

At the centre of the blitz is a new television commercial titled “Won’t Back Down”, which paints Hanson as a political fighter refusing to be silenced. The ad features dramatic imagery, a pounding soundtrack and a direct message to voters that One Nation will keep “standing up for everyday Australians” despite attacks from the major parties.

The ad is expected to air during the upcoming State of Origin clash – one of the most-watched events on Australian television – in a deliberate attempt to reach millions of voters in a single hit.

Hanson said the campaign’s success had stunned her.

“I’m gobsmacked by the support,” she said, saying many Australians were fed up with broken promises, rising costs and what she called political spin from Canberra.

The fundraising explosion follows Labor’s own appeal to supporters warning of One Nation’s growing influence, in a move that appears to have backfired by energising Hanson’s donor base.

Critics have questioned the speed and scale of the donations, as well as the campaign’s messaging, but Hanson insists the figures are genuine and fully accounted for.

With One Nation’s support climbing in recent polls, the party’s aggressive advertising strategy signals it intends to play a much bigger role in the next federal election – and Hanson is making it clear she has no plans to back down.
