Nine presenter Sophie Walsh and former Sydney Sixers’ captain Moises Henriques have welcomed a baby girl, announcing her birth on Instagram.
The couple shared the update on Thursday, revealing that their daughter Clementine “Minty” Ana Henriques, was born on September 29.
“The sweetest girl we’ve ever known,” Walsh wrote, alongside a few family photos.
The couple, who share a son from Henriques’ previous marriage, also shared photos of the proud big brother.
“Welcome to our sweet little angel.” Henriques said.
“So proud and in love with mumma. Her older brother Archie is absolutely besotted for now …”
Walsh, who has worked for Nine as their Europe correspondent, Weekend Today host and is now presenting the Sydney weather, received plenty of congratulatory messages from her colleagues.
“Wonderful news, Soph! So happy to see you with your darling girl in your arms. Minty is a beauty!” Today host Sylvia Jefferies said.
A Current Affair journalist Liz Pearl and former Today presenter Tim Davies also congratulated the couple on their growing family.
The birth of their daughter comes months after Henriques announced his retirement from Big Bash cricket after a 22-year career.
Following his retirement, he returned to his home country, Portugal, in August to captain the country’s national team ahead of the 2028 World Cup.
