Jamie Oliver’s daughter, Poppy Honey, is officially engaged to her longtime partner, Ben Newman.
The celebrity chef and his wife Jools shared a montage of moments from their 24-year-old daughter’s beach proposal.
In one photo, Newman is pictured proposing on one knee during sunset, and another showed Poppy proudly showing off her new ring.
“Probably one of my favorite reels so far,” Jools captioned the post.
“Our first baby, Poppy Honey, is getting married 🕊️. We are so excited, proud and happy. Ben, we all adore you,” she continued.
“Little did I know as we moved Pop in to her second house at university, whilst I was sweating over your shoe rack flat pack you seemed very distracted with the boy who had just moved in next door……….🏹🤍”
“Five years later you had met you soul mate 🤍,” adding, “So excited for the next chapter 🥹 love you xxx.”
The chef reshared the clip to his Instagram stories, alongside the caption:” Poppy’s engagement. My baby girl Poppy and Ben. I’m so pleased for you both. What a wonderful moment.”
Fans took to the comments to congratulate the couple and how much Poppy has grown.
“I’m sorry I’m not ready for this weren’t you pregnant a minute ago,” one person wrote under Jools’ post, adding, “Huge congrats beautiful!”
“What a beautiful moment. Loved that. Congratulations Poppy ❤️” another wrote.
“What wonderful news Jools, you must be so excited – your first baby’s wedding 🎉” a third commented.
Oliver and his wife Jools married in July 2000 and share five children together – Poppy, 24, Daisy, 23, Petal, 16, Buddy, 14, and River, 8.
