Robert Irwin has wowed audiences once again on Dancing with the Stars, earning his highest score yet for a lively Wicked-themed routine.

The latest episode saw the contestants dance to songs from the hit musical and movie, with the wildlife conservationist and his partner Witney Rylee performing an energetic number to Dancing Through Life.

Robert took on the role of Prince Fiyero while Rylee dazzled as Glinda, with the choreography featuring plenty of daring stunts. At one point, the 20-year-old “Wildlife Warrior” spun Rylee around before dropping to the floor to do the worm.

The routine was inspired by the Wicked movie’s dance sequence, even including a playful moment where Robert slid across the stage on a book, just like actor Jonathan Bailey in the film.

The judges were full of praise, awarding the pair an impressive 36 out of 40 – their highest score so far.

Carrie Ann declared that Dancing Through Life should be his “theme song.”

“That was so ambitious,” she said. “You really took the challenge. You nailed it.”

Derek Hough also praised the young star’s performance, joking that Robert should trade his “work boots for dancing shoes,” adding that he was “meant to be a performer.”

Before the show, Robert gave fans a glimpse of his costume on Instagram, writing: “Fiyero is entering the Ozdust ballroom tonight on Dancing with the Stars.”

Even the official Wicked movie page joined in the fun, commenting: “10’s across the board for this look! We’re thrillified for tonight.”

The upbeat routine marked a light-hearted turn after last week’s emotional performance dedicated to Irwin’s mum, Terri Irwin. During that dance, Terri joined her son on stage, bringing him to tears in a touching moment.
