Olympian Noémie Fox has shared a joyful secret with fans – she’s engaged.
The 28-year-old canoeist took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news, posting photos of her and her now-fiancé, athlete-turned-coach Titouan Dupras, celebrating their engagement.
“A little secret we’ve been keeping from youuuu💍!!” she wrote, showing off a stunning round diamond on a gold band as she hugged her now-fiance, and canoe coach Dupras.
“Who could have imagined that our little love story in Rio all those years ago would bring us here,” she continued.
“So proud of everything we’ve written together, et de tout ce qu’il nous reste à écrire ,” she added – the French part translating to “and all that remains for us to write.”
Congratulations quickly flooded in from fellow athletes and friends.
Shayna Jack wrote, “Congratulations ❤️❤️.”
Lucy Bartholomew commented, “My heart!! 💓 congrats you two!!”
Cate Campbell added, “Omg this is the best news! Congratulations 🙌 ❤️.”
Libby Trickett shared, “Congratulations ❤️.”
Noémie’s sister and fellow Olympian Jess Fox kept it simple, writing, “💛.”
For many fans, Dupras’s name was a familiar one – he famously leapt into the water alongside Jess Fox during her history-making gold medal win at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Noémie also made history at those Games, taking home gold in the kayak cross and becoming the first-ever Olympic champion in that event.
