Nick Kyrgios has confirmed his new relationship, sharing the news publicly as he marked his 31st birthday.
The tennis star revealed he has been dating Melbourne-based Danai Stamati for three months, resharing a birthday message she posted in his honour.
“Happy birthday, handsome boy. Proud of you every day,” Stamati wrote alongside photos of the couple together.
Kyrgios later confirmed the timeline of their relationship in response to a fan question on social media.
The posts offer a rare glimpse into his private life, showing the pair spending time together, including with Kyrgios’ niece and nephew.
While this is the first time Kyrgios has publicly identified Stamati, he had previously hinted at the relationship.
In March, he shared a photo of the pair with her face partially hidden and the caption “life keeps surprising me”, followed by another image of them walking hand in hand.
The posts had prompted speculation, particularly as Kyrgios had not confirmed a new relationship since his split from Costeen Hatzi in early 2025.
Away from his personal life, Kyrgios has also confirmed his return to tennis, with plans to compete at the BOSS Open in Stuttgart in June following a brief appearance at the Australian Open earlier this year.
