Hugh Jackman has given fans a glimpse into one of fashion’s biggest nights, sharing a moment from the Met Gala alongside partner Sutton Foster.

The pair made their Met Gala debut together, walking the red carpet hand-in-hand and smiling for cameras in a public show of affection.

Jackman was dressed in a classic black tuxedo, finished with a brooch and white pocket square, while Foster wore a metallic gold dress featuring bow detailing at the shoulder and waist. She completed the look with a matching gold clutch and strappy heels.

Ahead of their red carpet appearance, Jackman, 57, shared a preview of the evening on Instagram, posting a photo of the pair dressed for the event.

“Off to the #METGALA2026,” the actor wrote.

The appearance marks the couple’s first Met Gala together, though Jackman has attended the event in previous years, including with his former wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.

Fans praised the couple, with one writing: “OMG you two are absolutely STUNNING.”

“Talented & gorgeous couple,” another wrote.

“You both look gorgeous,” a third added alongside a pink heart emoji.

The outing comes just days after Foster, 51, supported Jackman at the premiere of his latest film, The Sheep Detectives.

The couple first appeared on the red carpet together at the Song Sung Blue premiere in October 2025, confirming their relationship that had drawn attention and speculation for some time.

They have known each other for years through musical theatre, having co-starred in Broadway’s The Music Man, before later forming a relationship following their respective separations from Furness and screenwriter Ted Griffin.
