The Prince and Princess of Wales have marked their youngest son’s eighth birthday on April 23.
The royal couple took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion, with a photo and video montage showing a glimpse at Prince Louis’ fun personality.
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Prince Louis. 8 is great!” the Prince and Princess of Wales alongside the footage.
The video shows the young prince enjoying a range of outdoor activities at a beach in Cornwall. He is seen playing in the sand, hitting a ball with a cricket bat and running across the foreshore.
The video was reportedly filmed by Matt Porteous earlier this month during the family’s holiday.
Kate and William also shared a new photo on X from the same family trip, showing a smiling Louis on a boat with the sea behind him.
“Happy birthday, Louis! 8 today!” they wrote on X.
Louis is fourth in line to the throne, after his father, Prince William, and his older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
