I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is set to return to Aussie TV screens this Sunday, and now the first cast member for 2026 has been revealed.
Robert Irwin and Julia Morris are back for another season of the Channel 10 show, with the network sharing different clues teasing who would be featured this year.
The clues shared for this season included a “rugby Romeo”, a Hollywood sitcom star, an “international supermodel”, “soap royalty”. Viewers have also been promised “Master Chef”, an “AFL A-Lister”, a “radio queen” and a few other big names.
Now, the identity of “rugby Romeo” has been revealed as NRL player turned reality TV star Luke Bateman.
“I’ll be trading the Australian outback for the African jungle,” Luke said in a post shared on Instagram.
He continued, saying that he will be representing Farm Angels, a small charity supporting Aussie farmers and rural communities that’s “very close to my heart”.
“They do amazing work in my community, and I’m very excited to see what Robert and Julia have cooked up for me in there.
“I’m sure there’ll be some delectable food items and some fear-instilling trials. I can’t wait. I’ll see you all in the jungle.”
Fans will have to wait for the reveal of the other cast members who will join Bateman in South Africa, competing for $100,000 for the charity of their choice and the chance to be the king or queen of the jungle.
