Antonio Banderas’ only child, Stella Banderas, has tied the knot to her pre-school sweetheart Alex Gruszynsk.
The Hollywood star and proud father took to Instagram to celebrate the special moment, with a video showing their father-daughter moments throughout the years.
“The wedding of my daughter Stella has turned into a heartfelt family reunion, emotional, joyful, and full of laughter,” he shared.
“Thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
At the end of the video, he included an image of himself in a classic black tux and toasting to the new couple.
The Mask of Zorro star also spoke to the press as he slipped out for a break, and said that seeing the 25-year-long friendship turn into a union brought “tears of joy”, according to outlet Sur in English.
He added that the most emotional moment for him was seeing his daughter say “I do” and the couple exchanging their rings.
Stella tied the knot with Gruszynski in the luxury Abadía Retuerta estate in Valladolid, Spain.
The wedding featured a star-studded lineup of guests including mum Melanie Griffith, actress Dakota Johnson and her father Don Johnson and even Michelle and Barack Obama’s daughters Malia and Sasha.
Stella announced her engagement to Gruszynski via Instagram in August 2024, with a series of photos of the pair growing up together.
“I get to hang out with my favorite person on earth forever!!!!!!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍,” she wrote.
After she announced her engagement, Antonio told People magazine that he was happy for her and “seeing my daughter dressed as a bride will be one of the most beautiful moments of my life.”
“I get to be the father of the bride, and it’s a role I take on with all the emotion in the world.”
