Today reporter Izabella Staskowski has shared the exciting news of welcoming her first child.
Staskowski and her fiancé, Drew Jones, became parents to a son on Friday, August 29, 2025.
The couple chose to keep the news private for a few days before announcing it publicly on Father’s Day.
Sharing the update on Instagram, the pair introduced their little boy and revealed his name.
“Welcome to the world, Max Aleksander Jones,” they wrote.
“Born at 9:48pm, 29-08-2025
“3.72, 53cm.”
This past week, the couple have been embracing life as new parents with their little one.
“You’ve unlocked a love we didn’t know was possible, and our lives will never be the same again,” the post continued.
“We can’t wait to watch you grow up and achieve all your wildest dreams.”
Alongside their words, the couple uploaded a series of photos from Max’s first week.
The opening image shows him lying on a bed in a sweet blue onesie, while other pictures capture the proud new parents with their newborn in hospital shortly after his arrival.
