Bindi Irwin has shared a joyful life update, revealing that she, husband Chandler Powell, and their daughter Grace have temporarily relocated to Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old announced the news in a heartfelt video, explaining that the family will be based in the US for three months to support her younger brother Robert Irwin, who is set to dazzle on Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.
“Australia Zoo will always be home, but we are here to support my incredible brother on Dancing With the Stars,” Bindi said.
Robert, 21, is preparing to take the stage later this month, following in his sister’s footsteps. Nearly a decade ago, Bindi charmed America when she won the competition alongside professional partner Derek Hough in 2015.
Reflecting on her own journey, she said: “It was a life-changing experience that I will always be grateful for, and now my little brother’s gonna be on the show. I can’t wait to support him and cheer him on every week in the audience, and maybe lend some advice here and there.”
Bindi added that while she’ll be one of Robert’s biggest cheerleaders, it’s her three-year-old daughter Grace who’s truly leading the fan club.
“She has already chosen all her dresses to wear in the ballroom audience each week,” Bindi shared with a smile. “If you’re wondering who will be cheering the loudest, it will definitely be me and Grace.”
With family cheering from the front row, Robert’s upcoming dance debut is already shaping up to be a feel-good highlight of the season.
