Supermarket hack: How to get 5% discount at Woolworths and Coles with this simple trick

Getting 5 per cent  off your groceries is easier than ever thanks to these tricks.

If you’re a member of NRMA, RACV in Victoria or RACQ in Queensland, you can enjoy gift cards from Coles and Woolworths at discounted prices.

RACV and RACQ offer their customers gift cards for Woolworths with 5 per cent  off the face value price.

This means that a $100 Woolworths gift card that can be spent at a variety of retailers can be purchased for $95.

RACQ also offers a 4 per cent  discount on gift cards from Coles.

Customers of Suncorp Insurance can also receive Coles gift cards at a discounted price.

NRMA used to offer a similar discount but  phased it out in 2018.

It  now offers customers up to 5 cents off  per litre at Caltex stores. Members can access the deal via the members’ mobile app.

These savings can be very helpful for those who are looking for discounts.
