Edwina Bartholomew has shared heart-warming news live on Sunrise this morning.

The 38-year-old newsreader announced she is pregnant with her second child, shocking her co-hosts Natalie Barr and David Koch as she shared an ultrasound photo.

“We’re having another baby!”, Edwina exclaimed as she shared in the joy with the Sunrise cast.

She said baby number two is due in February, and wants to keep the gender a secret for now.

“We found out this time because we just wanted to know but I wanted to keep that one as a little secret,” Edwina said.

Edwina and her husband Neil welcomes their first child Molly in December 2019.

“I tried to tell Molly but she wasn’t interested,” Edwina said.

“I showed her the photo but she proceeded to scrunch it up and throw it on the floor so hopefully when the baby arrives she doesn’t act the same way.”

Edwina  kept her pregnancy a secret while she was hosting the recent Tokyo Olympics coverage alongside Matt Shirvington.

She said she has been feeling  nauseous and discreetly  curbing her first trimester craving with Jatz crackers.

Edwina also said her co-host Natalie Barr has cottoned onto her pregnancy early when she was  eating “a lot of peanut butter toast” to cut through morning sickness.
