Julie Goodwin has welcomed her second grandchild.
The MasterChef Australia star took to Instagram on November 5 to reveal the joyful family update, alongside a montage of the adorable baby boy with the affectionate nickname “Little Rex”.
“💜Welcome to the newest member of our family, Rexton Michael Goodwin. Little Rex.💜,” she gushed in the caption.
“Congratulations @crystalyorke and @tommy_g_m8 on the safe arrival of your son. Our grandson. Delilah’s brother. He is exquisite.”
“So many adventures await,” she concluded.
Her MasterChef Australia co-stars were quick to congratulate her on the latest addition to her family.
“Oh my god. Congratulations so cute 🥰 how lucky to have a happy and healthy baby, truly blessed Julie ❤️,” season 13 contestant Tommy Pham said.
“Congrats to you all!! May the bub stay healthy and grow up strong!💪,” added Emily Sue.
Goodwin became a grandmother for the first time in January 2021, after her son Tom and his partner Crystal welcomed their daughter Delilah.
The happy news comes a few years after the MasterChef star shared she would love for the family to expand in a 2021 interview with Woman’s Day.
“I do hope I get more grandkids,” she said at the time.
“But Delilah’s such an enormous blessing, that if she’s the only grandchild I ever have, that will be what it is.”
