Prince William and Princess Kate have shared a never-before-seen throwback photo of their youngest child, Prince Louis, for Halloween.
The royals took to Instagram to share the photo of Prince Louis when he was just one, crouching down next to a pumpkin that was almost as big as him.
The then toddler, who is now eight, wore a navy blue rain jacket and red rain boots, with his hair still a lighter shade of blond.
“Happy Halloween!” William and Middleton captioned the photo, revealing that she was the one that captured the adorable snap.
Royal fans were quick to gush over the young prince, with one person calling him a “precious little pumpkin,” while another wrote “what a cutie.”
Another person commented “A lil’ punkin’ with a lil’ punkin’.”
The royal family recently marked Louis’ eighth birthday in April, with a montage of the young boy enjoying a day out at the beach, which included clips of him swimming in the sea.
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Prince Louis. 8 is great!” they captioned the video.
They also shared a portrait of the young boy smiling while on a boat and looking like a little gentleman dressed in a blue quarter-zip sweater.
Prince William and Princess Kate married in April 2011 and share three children together including Prince George, 13, and Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis.
