Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have welcomed their third child, a baby girl.
The couple shared the news on Instagram alongside a photo of their newborn, taken by Brooksbank.
“Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank! We are beyond in love with our girly,” the caption read.
The baby’s name has not yet been announced. She joins the couple’s two sons, August, 5, and Ernest, 3.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the birth in a statement, saying: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.
“The baby was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces (3.1kg). Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.”
The family divides its time between the United Kingdom and Portugal, where the couple own property south of Lisbon.
Eugenie and her daughter are understood to be doing well, with the couple grateful to hospital staff for their care.
Eugenie, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, announced her pregnancy in May by sharing a photo of her sons holding an ultrasound image.
“Baby Brooksbank due 2026!” she wrote at the time.
Buckingham Palace also confirmed the pregnancy, saying: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.
“August and Ernest are also very excited to have another sibling join the family.”
Eugenie and Brooksbank first met through mutual friends in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier in 2010 and married at Windsor Castle on October 12, 2018.
