Sam Burgess and his wife Lucy Burgess have announced they are expecting their third child together
The couple shared the baby news on social media, alongside a sweet family video and the caption: “One more to love. Baby number three due Jan 27.”
Sam and Lucy already share two-year-old Robbie and 10-month-old son Mack together.
In the clip the children are seen touching their mother’s bump and placing daisies on her stomach with their dad.
Friends and fans took to the comments to congratulate the parents.
“Beautiful, congratulations Sam and Lucy – gorgeous kids!” one said.
“Eeek you’re in the three club! Congratulations guys,” wrote another.
“Three is the magic number! Congratulations! So excited for you,” commented a third.
Sam and Lucy tied the knot in a luxurious wedding in Rome in 2024, just nine months after the couple went public with their relationship.
The pair have known each other for decades, after meeting as teens at a friends’ party in the UK.
The former NRL player also shared two children, nine-year-old Poppy and seven-year-old Billy, with ex-wife and Phoebe Burgess, who he split from in 2019.
