Anne Hathaway is pregnant with her third child.

The actress, 43, announced the joyful news on Instagram last Friday.

In the clip, set to Barbara Lewis’s Baby, I’m Yours, Hathway walks into the frame while cradling her baby bump, with a matching caption that simply says: “x Baby, I’m yours x.”

Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman, share two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.

Fans were quick to congratulate the couple, with many praising the actress for being an inspiration.

“Seeing women over 40 successfully becoming mothers is incredibly inspiring,” one person wrote.

“It gives hope to many women who are still waiting for the right partner or haven’t had children yet. It’s comforting to know that opportunities for motherhood don’t necessarily end in our thirties. Everyone’s timeline is different, and there is still hope, possibility, and time ahead,” they continued.

“Girl has five movies coming out this year and a baby on the way this woman is amazing,” another added.

“Anne Hatha-boy? Anne Hatha-girl?… anyone’s guess,” a third quipped.

The award-winning actress previously opened up about her struggles with infertility, when she announced her pregnancy with her firstborn son.

“For everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love,” she wrote at the time.

In 2024, she told Vanity Fair that she had experienced a miscarriage.

“It’s really hard to want something so much and to wonder if you’re doing something wrong,” she said.

In another interview with the Associated Press in 2019, she opened up about her struggles with conceiving.

“I think that we have a very one-size-fits-all approach to getting pregnant,” she said.

“You get pregnant and for the majority of cases, this is a really happy time.

“But a lot of people who are trying to get pregnant: That’s not really the story. Or that’s one part of the story. And the steps that lead up to that part of the story are really painful and very isolating and full of self-doubt. And I went through that.”

The joyful update comes after a busy period for the actress who starred in various films that were released this year, including Mother Mary and The Devil Wears Prada 2. She is also set to appear in The Odyssey which premieres next month, and The End of Oak Street, scheduled for release on Aug. 14.
