Chuck Norris has reportedly been taken to hospital after a medical emergency while visiting Hawaii. The Hollywood star, 86, was on the island of Kauai when the incident happened earlier this week, according to Page Six and TMZ.
He was hospitalised, but sources told local media he reportedly “bounced back” straight after the incident and that Norris is okay. By Wednesday, the martial arts legend was even spotted training on the island, with a friend close to the actor saying he was “cracking jokes” and in “good spirits.”
Details about what caused the medical incident have not been made clear.

Norris marked his 86th birthday earlier this month by sharing a video of himself boxing on Instagram, leaning into the milestone with trademark confidence: “I don’t age. I level up,” he wrote. “I’m 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young.” He added, “I’m grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love.”
He also thanked his followers, calling them “the best fans in the world,” and said their support has “meant more to me than you’ll ever know.”
In another post, alongside a photo of himself flexing, Norris urged fans to keep moving, writing: “Progress isn’t measured by perfection, but by the courage to keep going.” He added, “I’m still setting goals, pushing forward and choosing discipline over comfort.” And in case anyone thought age was an excuse, he made his point plainly: “No matter your age, keep striving for the best version of yourself.”
Best known for his martial arts films and Karate career, the Missing in Action star married Gene O’Kelley in 1998. They share 24-year-old twins, Dakota Alan and Danilee Kelly. Norris was previously married to Dianne Holechek from 1958 to 1989. She passed away in 2025. They had two sons, Eric, 60, and Mike, 63.
