Sydney radio host Emma Chow has shared a heartwarming update after revealing her husband Enzo needs a live donor transplant on-air late last month.
In August, Chow revealed that her husband of 11 years is battling chronic kidney disease and was in urgent need of a live donor transplant.
Now, Chow confirmed that she is a donor match and is offering her own kidney to her husband.
“The results are in 🫀,” the pair captioned a video announcement on Tuesday.
“We have some news. Just come out of the appointment, and we opened up our, I guess like our transplant app, which is like Tinder, and Emma’s one went right,” Enzo began.
Chow could barely contain her joy when she announced “we’re a match!”
“And I went right, we’re a match,” Enzo confirmed.
Enzo made a reference to the ‘swipe right’ function indicating a match on dating apps, saying: “Her kidney swiped right, we’re a match.”
