Former 2GB host Alan Jones has reportedly been hit with nine new indecent assault charges, ahead of his court appearance on Thursday.

The 83-year-old is now facing 44 allegations that he inappropriately touched, groped or assaulted a number of victims.

The new charges were laid by NSW Police on Monday, according to The Daily Telegraph.

In March, police revealed that Jones had allegedly targeted 11 victims between 2001 and 2019.

They also alleged that the acts occurred at a range of locations, including Jones’ former home in Newtown, his luxury Circular Quay apartment, and a property at Fitzroy Falls.

Jones was arrested at his harbourside apartment last November, following a months-long police investigation.

The former broadcaster previously denied the claims against him.

His case will be mentioned at Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday.
