Deborah Knight is not one to shy away from sharing the behind-the-scenes details of her new role as Today co-host.
Just a few weeks into the job, she has shared this hilarious image showing the “reality” behind working in the TV industry.
“There’s the glamour of TV – and then the reality: dress pinned and mic cables galore… @thetodayshow,” the funny Instagram caption read which was posted yesterday.
The Aussie journalist, alongside her co-host Georgie Gardner, are currently airing live on the Today show each morning from the Australian Open in Melbourne, where Knight shared the candid snap – providing a real glimpse into the life of a morning TV show star.

In the image she is wearing a bright orange Karen Millen sleeveless dress, fitted with pins from top to bottom. The starkest part of the photograph posted to Instagram was the battery packs, cords and cables messily taped and stuck to her back.
