Jennifer Aniston has cut ties with those who are choosing not to get a COVID-19 vaccine, and many fans are not happy about it.
The Friends star responded to a number of comments asking her why she was so worked up about being around friends who are unvaccinated.
“But if she’s vaccinated, she’s protected, correct? Why be worried about unvaxxed around her? (shrugging emoji),” a comment from a critic read, which Aniston screenshotted and shared to her Instagram Story.

Her cutting response read: “Because if you have the variant, you are still able to give it to me. I may get slightly sick but I will not be admitted to a hospital and or die.”
The beloved actress then went on to point out that she has concerns over infecting other people “whose health is compromised” or those who have pre-existing conditions.
“Therefore I would put their lives at risk. THAT is why I worry. We have to care about more than just ourselves here,” Aniston said.
The critiques that have followed Aniston come after her interview with InStyle where she revealed she’d dropped people from her friendship groups who were not wanting the vaccine.
“There’s still a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don’t listen to the facts. It’s a real shame,” she said.

“I’ve just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate,” Aniston added.
“I feel it’s your moral and professional obligation to inform since we’re not all podded up and being tested every single day.
“It’s tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion — but a lot of opinions don’t feel based in anything except fear or propaganda.”
Aniston has been a major advocate for carefully following COVID-19 restrictions.
She urged fans to wear a mask after her friend Kevin was hospitalised with the deadly virus.
“Just think about those who’ve already suffered through this horrible virus,” she captioned a distressing photo of Kevin. “Do it for your family. And most of all yourself. COVID affects all ages.”
