“I have not looked back”: Stamp out cramps as easy as you please

Muscle cramps can be excruciating and disruptive, causing sudden, involuntary contractions that leave you wincing in pain. These spasms can occur in various parts of the body, most commonly in the legs, and they often strike at the most inconvenient times.

While the exact causes of muscle cramps can vary, one potential remedy that has gained popularity is Magnesium. However, what most people don’t realise is that taking Magnesium supplements by themselves will actually address only ONE of the major causes of cramps: mineral deficiency.

Fortunately, there is a better way; one that covers a multitude of common triggers for cramps, and which will help you rest easy and move more for active days and restful nights.

What causes muscle cramps?

Muscle cramps can occur for a variety of reasons, and sometimes the exact cause remains elusive. Some of the most common triggers include:

Dehydration: Insufficient fluid intake can lead to an electrolyte imbalance, causing muscles to contract involuntarily.

Overexertion: Strenuous physical activity, especially in hot weather, can lead to muscle fatigue and cramps.

Mineral deficiencies: An imbalance of essential minerals like potassium, calcium and magnesium can contribute to cramping.

Poor blood circulation: Reduced blood flow to muscles can result in cramps, especially during prolonged periods of immobility.

Medications: Certain medications, such as diuretics and statins, can increase the risk of muscle cramps as a side effect.

Crampeze Testimonial: “Started getting really bad cramps in my feet and calf muscles in both legs. I have never experienced cramp this severe, ever. I Googled ‘severe cramping’ and this is when I came across Crampeze… I have not looked back since I started on them. So glad I found them.” – Julie Daniels, Product Review

How Crampeze and Crampeze Forte can help

Crampeze is a supplement designed to address the root causes of muscle cramps, providing relief and promoting overall muscle health. Here's how it can help:

Magnesium: Crampeze contains magnesium, an essential mineral that plays a crucial role in muscle function and relaxation. Magnesium helps prevent cramps by regulating muscle contractions and maintaining proper electrolyte balance.

Vitamin B Complex: This supplement includes a blend of B vitamins, such as B1 (thiamine), B3 (niacin), and B6 (pyridoxine), which are important for nerve and muscle health. .

Herbal ingredients: Crampeze also contains natural ingredients like feverfew extract, Viburnum Opulus (Cramp Bark), can help alleviate muscle cramps and mild muscle spasms and twitches, as well as Ginkgo Biloba that acts as an antioxidant, reducing free radicals formed in the body, while supporting blood circulation to the legs, hands and feet.

How Crampeze Forte differs

Crampeze Forte is an added benefit formulation of Crampeze, with nicotinamide, feverfew extract and vitamin B5 providing comprehensive support for cramp prevention and relief. Ideal for intermittent sufferers or sports related cramps.

Crampeze Testimonial: “Just to say a huge thank you for your Crampeze Forte! Bedtime is no longer terror time. I am cramp free at last.” – Betty H, Product Review

By offering a more holistic approach to managing and preventing muscle cramps, the 2-in-1 benefits of Crampeze and Crampeze Forte help address the root causes of cramps through their unique formulations. How to banish painful leg cramps

Everyone experiences leg cramps at some point in their lives, to a greater or lesser degree. If you’re lucky it can be as minor as a short series of spasms or cramps in the leg muscles that don’t relax for several seconds. Often these can be caused by overuse or dehydration, or even just standing and walking for longer than usual.

Routine muscle cramps generally last just a few seconds or minutes and ease with warmth, rest and stretching. But you need to be able to tell the difference between that and more sinister conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), peripheral artery disease, or even a clogging of the arteries which can reduce circulation to the limbs.

The most common leg cramps – also known as restless leg or night leg cramps – can appear as if from nowhere, and as the name suggests, occur mostly at night.

Characterised by a sudden movement in the leg muscles, causing painful, involuntary contractions to occur, they can last from a few seconds up to a few minutes.

While low levels of certain minerals such as electrolytes and some medications have been cited as causes of leg cramps, unfortunately there is currently no definitive cure. However, sufferers can take Crampeze long term to help combat these cramps.

Let’s take a closer look to help see if the leg pains you are experiencing may be simpler than you think to help identify – and hopefully ease.

What are the symptoms of common leg cramps or night cramps?

The symptoms of a muscle cramp include:

Sudden uncontrollable and painful spasms in the muscle

Muscle twitching

Excruciating deep muscle pain in the calf

Tightness of the calf and hardening of the muscle

A cramp can reoccur several times before it goes away. Cramps are common at night and generally occur in the calf muscles and feet.

What can be the underlying cause of such cramps?

The exact cause of muscle cramps is largely unknown, but there are some risk factors that include:

Muscle injury

Muscle fatigue

Poor diet and lifestyle

Low Magnesium levels or Magnesium deficiency

Dehydration

Physical overexertion

Physical exertion of cold muscles

Some medications

Excessive perspiration

How can you stop leg cramps?

Many people turn to magnesium supplements to try relieve leg cramps. Magnesium is involved in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism and around 300 enzymatic reactions in the body. It assists with energy production and is necessary for proper muscle and nerve function, while helping to maintain normal healthy functioning of the nervous system and may help relieve muscular cramps and spasms. However, magnesium alone is not a complete cramp solution to stop leg cramps.

Why choose Crampeze instead of a magnesium supplement?

Crampeze offers a wide range of muscular cramp relief products that fit in with your lifestyle and preferences. Crampeze products provide Magnesium supplementation and contain Viburnum Opulus (Cramp bark), which is traditionally used in western herbal medicine to help relieve muscle cramps and mild muscle spasms and twitches. The truth about muscle cramps (and what to do about them)

Say you’re out for a walk with some friends and having a lovely time. One minute you’re fine, then suddenly, for no apparent reason, your calf muscle knots up and you can't move. Or you’re lying in bed on a Sunday morning reading the paper and enjoying a cup of tea and the next minute you’re in agony. Welcome to the world of muscle cramps.

Muscle cramps are involuntary contractions that cause sharp pains, often in the arms and legs. The forced contractions prevent the limb from relaxing and this can be due to any number of causes, including, poor circulation, overexertion, insufficient stretching, injury, dehydration and mineral deficiencies. Here are a few ways to manage and prevent these cramps:

1. Stretch and massage the muscles.

Rubbing the cramped muscle will help it relax, especially if you put a small amount of weight on it and bend. If you tend to get cramps during a workout, try stretching before exercise too.

2. Apply warmth.

Wrapping the muscle in a warm towel or applying a heat pack can work wonders. A warm bath or may also relieve the pain.

3. Fix your diet.

Many cramps are the result of a nutrient deficiency or dehydration. If you keep experiencing these cramps, try increasing your intake of magnesium, calcium and water. You may also need to take a trip to the doctors.

4. Take a supplement.

When your body’s magnesium levels are not adequate, this is when cramps can set it. It is even thought that those with magnesium deficiency may be predisposed to muscle cramps. Australian NaturalCare’s new Advanced Cramp Relief with Magnesium may help you relieve and prevent muscle cramps. As magnesium plays an important role in maintaining muscle function, contraction and relaxation, adding a supplement to your daily regimen could be just what you need.

5. Massage your muscle with ice.

You can relieve the pain of cramps by massaging your arm or leg with an ice pack for a few minutes.

In any case, it’s always best to seek medical advice from your doctor.
