Delta Goodrem scorches in Melbourne Cup outfit
She's showed off her outfit on social media, with fans loving the white and red combo.
Goodrem will be performing her hit song Solid Gold after the race that stops the nation.
"Everyone has a ticket to Cup Week this year by tuning into Network 10 tomorrow to see the 160th running of the Melbourne Cup & celebrating this great Aussie event," she posted on Instagram. "I’ll be performing Solid Gold after the race on Network 10!"
It's set to be a nice day for Goodrem to perform as the Bureau of Meterology has predicted no rain and a top of 30 degrees for the race. This is the hottest it's been in six years for the Melbourne Cup.
Nine reporter Christine Ahern told The Today Show on Monday: “We’re going to actually have 29 degrees which is unheard of in Melbourne at this time of year.”
New Zealand has also warned its citizens to ensure everything stays above board, with a media release reminding anyone whose running a Melbourne Cup sweep that they are unable to offer firearms or sexual services as prizes.
"Prize money can't exceed $500, all money raised must be returned as prizes, firearms liquor, tobacco and sexual services are all prohibited prizes and the organiser can't pocket a fee or profit in any way from holding a sweepstake," the media release from Te Tari Taiwhenua, Department of Internal Affairs confirmed.
