Both glamorous and fashionable journalists, Lisa Wilkinson and Georgie Gardner are often praised for their stylish steps.
However, The Project host and her Today show replacement have both been seen in the same $385 Cue dress worn just days apart from each other.
Wilkinson took to Instagram to flaunt the snake print number, writing: “Little bit in love with tonight’s @theprojecttv dress from @cueclothingco – so forgiving after all those Easter eggs I’ve had this week!”
“(Not my fault – I was stress eating before tonight’s Sunday Night Takeaway prank, and the local Woolies keeps putting those Cadbury 20-egg packs on sale. And the bloody things call my name!)” the former Today show host jokingly added.
The unique snake print dress – which features billowing sleeves, a keyhole opening at the chest and plenty of room to make a grand entrance everywhere you go with its flowing silhouette – has appeared to be a fashion hit for both women, with Gardner wearing it just days prior on Tuesday’s episode of Nine’s morning show.
While 59-year-old Wilkinson showed off the flattering, easy number with a pair of rose-gold pumps and a simple belt to cinch in the waist, 48-year-old Georgie paired it back with silver drop earrings and a wavy bob.
In September 2017, Gardner was announced as Lisa Wilkinson’s replacement on the Today show after a dramatic exit from Wilkinson after being at the helm of the show for more than 10 years.
It was reported the veteran reporter accepted the role for less than half of co-host Karl Stefanovic’s $2 million salary.
