Hugh Jackman has all but confirmed his new relationship with a recent social media post.
Weeks after making his first official red carpet appearance with actress, singer and dancer Sutton Foster, Jackman has taken their romance to Instagram.
The actor shared a tribute to Foster and her latest performance, praising her talent in a post to his Instagram account.
“Sutton Lenore performing during the holidays at Cafe Carlyle … not that’s an iconic NYC night,” he wrote.
“And, truly magical.”
Jackman included a photo of Foster smiling on stage, performing alongside a small band.
She wore a sparkly gown that that caught the glow of the stage lights as she sang.
He also posted a short video of Foster smiling and waving at him behind the camera as the audience applauded.
The post arrives one month after the pair – longtime acquaintances through musical theatre circles – made their debut as a couple on the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Jackman’s film Song Sung Blue.
The two posed together in complementary black outfits, with Jackman’s arm around Foster as they smiled for photographers.
Their relationship first entered the public eye in January, when they were photographed holding hands and later kissing in Los Angeles.
While they have not directly confirmed the long-rumoured romance, they have appeared together publicly several times this year.
Jackman’s new post marks the closest they have come to acknowledging their relationship outright.
Speculation about the pair began after both went through high-profile separations.
Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced their split in September 2023.
In a statement to People magazine, the couple wrote, “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
Their divorce was finalised in June 2025.
