The Rocks Christmas Markets, Sydney NSW
Held in the historic precinct of The Rocks, this market runs every Friday to Sunday from the 5th to the 21st of December, perfect for those looking to spend quality time with family by the Sydney harbour. You’ll find artisan stalls selling handcrafted gifts, live music, festive decorations and more than 50 dining venues nearby.
The historic cobblestones and well‑maintained walkways make it relatively accessible, though it is best to arrive early for parking and avoiding crowds. Entry is free and many stalls are senior‑friendly.
The Hawkesbury Country Christmas Markets, Clarendon NSW
This market located at Hawkesbury Racecourse Rd takes place over the weekend of Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November 2025. It features boutique stalls, festive fare, live music and a relaxed weekend setting, ideal for a comfortable day out without the hustle of city crowds. The market welcomes people with access needs, and entry is free.
Good Food & Wine Show – Christmas Market, Melbourne VIC
This special festive market at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC) runs on the 5th to 7th December 2025, with over 150 artisan food and wine producers, alongside curated gifts, it’s perfect for those who appreciate gourmet flavours and refined shopping.
One day tickets start from $25 for those with a concession card, with family bundles, multi-day passes and other options available on their website.

West End Christmas Twilight Market, Brisbane QLD
The West End Christmas Twilight Market will take place at Davies Park on the evening of Friday 5 December 2025 and it’s free entry. With over 150 stalls, gourmet treats, live entertainment and children’s activities, it offers a festive evening out
Christmas Markets Across South Australia
In South Australia the City of Adelaide and local councils list several markets including: the Barossa Makers & Beyond Market in Tanunda on 20 November; the Walkervillage Christmas Fair at Walkerville Oval on 16 November; the Fullarton Christmas Fair at Fullarton Park Community Centre on 15 November; and the Melbourne Street North Adelaide “Christmas Meander Market” on 6 December.
