Today show reporter Izabella Staskowski has welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with fiance Drew Jones.
The couple took to Instagram to share the news, revealing that they had welcomed their son on Friday the 29th of August, but waited until Father’s Day to publicly share the update.
“Welcome to the world, Max Aleksander Jones,” the couple wrote.
“Born at 9:48pm, 29-08-2025
“3.72, 53cm.”
The couple posted a series of snaps sharing a glimpse into how they have been spending their first week as parents, including the moment they took their son home.
“You’ve unlocked a love we didn’t know was possible, and our lives will never be the same again,” they added.
“We can’t wait to watch you grow up and achieve all your wildest dreams.”
Friends and family were quick to congratulate the couple, with former Weekend Today Show weather presenter Lauren Phillips writing: “So precious. Congratulations.”
“Oh he’s perfect. Congratulations guys,” Former Today Show presenter Brooke Boney wrote.
Staskowski also shared a photo of her fiance holding their newborn to her Instagram Story, and wished him a “happy first Father’s Day”.
“You’re our rock and we all love you so much,” she added.
The couple’s happy news comes three months after they revealed they were expecting their first child, with a photo of the pair on the beach.
Staskowski and Jones announced their engagement early this year.
