Princess Charlotte has turned 11!
The royal family marked the special day by releasing a new video and portrait of the young princess, taken while they were on Easter holiday in Cornwall.
Princess Charlotte was filmed enjoying a boat ride, playing with the family dogs Orla and Otto, and showing off her sport skills in a game of cricket.
“Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!” the Prince and Princess of Wales wrote in the caption of the post alongside a new portrait of the young royal.
In the photo, the princess is dressed in a smart casual outfit, pairing a striped sweater with a pair of blue jeans.
In another post, which featured the video montage, the royal couple thanked the public for “the lovely birthday messages for Princess Charlotte”.
The royal couple marked their 15th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, just days before the Princess’ birthday, and shared a new family portrait to mark the occasion.
“Celebrating 15 years of marriage,” they wrote in the post at the time.
In the photo, Prince William and Princess Kate were pictured lying in the grass, smiling, with their children and their two dogs during the Easter break in Cornwall.
