Princess Diana’s niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, has shared a rare glimpse into her family life.
Kitty, who is known to be private about her personal life, particularly about her husband Michael Lewis and their two-year-old daughter Athena, recently shared a glimpse into her life.
In a post shared to Instagram, the model shared a few snapshots of their family holiday in the Hamptons, with the caption: “Happiness in the Hamptons,” and a bunch of emojis.
The first photo showed Kitty playing with the sand alongside her two-year-old daughter, while Athena’s face remains mostly hidden, royal fans were given a glimpse into their mother-daughter bond.
She also posted a video with her husband, the chairman of the Foschini Group, a South African retail clothing group. The pair were filmed playing with their daughter and lifting her over the waves on the beach.
There were a few other snaps of her daughter Athena, including one of the mother-daughter duo picking some flowers, playing outdoors, and baking.
Her post was received warmly, with her sister Lady Eliza Spencer commenting: “Love these so much,” alongside heart emojis.
Lady Amelia Spencer also commented: “So so special.”
Royal fans commented on how “Athena is so big!” and that “She is growing super fast,” while others praised Kitty’s beauty.
Kitty and Michael married over four years ago at a luxurious villa in Rome. The couple welcomed daughter Athena in 2023, but only announced her arrival nearly a year after she was born on U.K.’s Mother’s Day in March 2024.
She previously told Harper’s Bazaar in a 2018 interview, that keeping her life private was “a conscious choice”.
“I have a small group of friends who I trust, and I feel that I maintain a healthy relationship between public and private life. I really do believe, and it’s not easy, that you can have privacy if you make it your priority and have a bit of common sense about the decisions you make.”
