While the Duke of York was dating model and reality TV star Caprice Bourret, it is rumoured he allowed her to sit on the Queen’s throne during a secret date at Buckingham Palace.
While courting the blonde bombshell in 2000, it is believed Prince Andrew wined and dined the American model at the Palace and allegedly even let her “steal” a decorative bowl, as reported by The Sun.

A source close to the model told the tabloid: “She did think it a bit strange that he wanted to hang out as, from her side, there was no chance of a snog — she didn’t fancy him.
“But as an American, she was thoroughly entertained at the notion he was a part of the Royal Family. Plus all the secretive rendezvous, although unnecessary, were a great family dinner conversation point.
“He took her to Buckingham Palace twice, and on one occasion she sat on the Queen’s throne.
“She spotted a bowl she liked and asked Andrew if she could steal it and post it to her mum. She claims that he let her, and her mum loved it!”
Prince Andrew, 60, courted Caprice for two months in 2000, just a year before it is alleged he slept with 17-year-old Virginia Roberts.

Caprice met the Prince while they were both attending a friend’s dinner party in the country before being seated together. They became friends for two months and regularly spoke on the phone and went on platonic dates.
As well as several dinners, they went to the cinema to see a Star Wars film.
However, the friend said the model “ghosted” the Duke and “stopped returning his calls” after it surfaced in media reports they were friends – but not before setting him up with her masseuse, Denise Martell.
“He’d been nothing but a gentleman, but quite simply she didn’t fancy him and ran for the hills when a newspaper article came out linking them — he wasn’t her type and she found him quite dry,” the source said.

“Also, by that time, she had set him up with her energy healer, Martell. Andrew had asked her for a great masseuse recommendation after flying to Los Angeles and saying he felt stiff and achey.
“Denise only took on female clients but made an exception for Andrew. After insisting on an initial meeting, she began treating him — and then they started dating.
“She even flew to the UK to stay with him at his country house where they invited Caprice over for dinner.
“It was just the three of them, and Caprice said they were very cute together, and quite tactile.”
