Aussie Winter Olympic icon Torah Bright has welcomed her third child, a baby girl.
Bright and her husband announced the arrival of their newest family member with a precious family photo on Instagram.
“Holy sparkles!! We have a baby GIRL,” the couple, who are both snowboarders, wrote in the post.
“Our hearts are bursting with joy. In awe and gratitude of this incredible experience. Can’t wait to share more soon,” they added.
In the family photo, Bright and Thomson lie down surrounded by their three children, their eldest son Flow, their second-born son Halo Sundancer, and, of course, their newborn daughter, whose name has not yet been revealed.
Bright’s sister, Rowena Bright, who is also a Winter Olympian, joined in for the family photo.
As they all smile for the camera, Bright can be seen nursing her two youngest children.
Friends and family flooded the comments to share their excitement over the arrival of the new bub.
“Wahhh congrats to the coolest family in all the land,” wrote TV presenter Liv Phyland.
“Awwwww gorgeous!!! Congratulations gang! Beautiful,” Australian surfer Laura Enever wrote.
Social media influencer Indy Clinton, Australian surfer Stephanie Gilmore, Australian athlete and author Turia Pitt and countless others also shared their well-wishes for the family.
Bright announced in May 2025 that she was expecting her third child with Thomson.
“Baby #3 coming in Hot,” she wrote in an Instagram post showing off her baby bump.
“We are so excited! The boys are hyped and so sweet with their baby growing in my belly!”
Bright and Thomson welcomed their firstborn, Flow, in 2020. Sharing the news on Instagram, Bright wrote, “Just as the sun was setting and a full moon was rising, I gave birth to our baby BOY!”
“I am so overwhelmed with love and gratitude and in awe of the female body,” she added.
They welcomed their second child, Halo Sundancer, in 2023, with Bright writing at the time, “My heart is exploding with joy as our family is adjusting well.”
Bright and Thomson have been married for nearly a decade and are due to celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary in September 2025.
