NRL player Reuben Garrick has married long-time partner Riley Wishart, with the couple tying the knot over the weekend in a dreamy coastal ceremony on the NSW South Coast.
The Manly Sea Eagles winger and Wishart were married at Greyleigh Farm in Kiama, where about 140 guests came together to celebrate the couple.
Images shared from the day showed the pair surrounded by family and friends at the rural venue. Wishart marked the milestone on social media, captioning the post, “24.01.26 forever our day.”
The bride wore a structured gown featuring an angular neckline, boning details, subtle gathering and a trailing train.
Wishart is the sister of Melbourne Storm player Tyran Wishart and the daughter of former St George Illawarra Dragons player Rod Wishart.
Ahead of the wedding, Garrick spoke about the ceremony during an appearance on the Backstage with Cooper and Matty Johns podcast, hosted by former Manly teammate Cooper Johns.
During the discussion, the hosts suggested Garrick would become emotional upon seeing Wishart walk down the aisle. Garrick agreed, but said it would likely be the presence of their daughter that would prompt an emotional response.
“We’re going to have Elsie coming up, that’ll have me going,” he said.
Garrick and Wishart publicly confirmed their relationship in 2020, later announcing their engagement in 2024 with a post from Whale Beach on Sydney’s Northern Beaches captioned “WE’RE ENGAGED!”
The couple welcomed their daughter, Elsie, in March last year and have largely kept her out of the public eye.
Speaking in a video shared by the Manly Sea Eagles following her birth, Garrick described the experience as “the best weekend of his life.”
“It’s been a massive weekend for me and more so my fiancée,” Garrick said in a post-game interview last season.
“[Riley’s] been absolutely outstanding, and I’m so proud of her and couldn’t be more appreciative of what she does for not only for myself but for our new little girl.”
