Congratulations are in order for Australian singer and actor Bonnie Anderson, who has welcomed her second child: a baby boy named Teddy James Morrison.

The 30-year-old star, best known for winning Australia’s Got Talent at just 12 and later starring in Neighbours, announced the happy news on Instagram this week.

“We welcomed our second baby boy into the world and we could not be more in love, especially his big brother Bobby,” she wrote, alongside the simple caption, “Teddy James Morrison 🤎.”

Friends quickly joined the celebrations, with Anthony Callea posting, “Beautiful news <3 Congratulations x,” and Erin Holland adding, “Hello beautiful boy.”

It’s a joyful new chapter for Anderson, who married husband Sam Morrison in a stunning ceremony in November 2023 and announced her pregnancy just six months ago. At the time, she shared her excitement while acknowledging that every journey to parenthood is unique: “I feel so blessed… so much love to everybody!”

Anderson’s life and career have been shaped by strength and fighting spirit, a quality she says she learned from her godfather, legendary boxer Lionel Rose. “He was my dad’s best mate and was the most special human to me,” she said in 2019. “He was my biggest supporter… he always used to say, ‘You’ve just got to keep fighting, keep punching and keep going.’” Rose made history in 1968 as the first Aboriginal boxer to win a world title at just 19.

That same determination helped Anderson navigate vocal surgery in 2024 to remove two cysts on her vocal cords, a challenge she says taught her invaluable lessons.

Now, with baby Teddy in her arms and big brother Bobby by her side, Anderson’s fighting spirit is clearly paying off in the sweetest way possible.
