Jett Kenny and Lily Brown are officially engaged!
The couple are returning from their luxurious European holiday with more than just golden tans and memories, after Jett popped the question.
Lily was the one to break the news on Instagram, in a playful and understated fashion. Alongside a video of the pair sharing a big plate of pasta Lady and The Tramp-style, she captioned the post: “now THATS Amore”, complete with love hearts, crying eyes and engagement ring emojis.
In the short clip, Lily reached up to Jett’s face with her left hand, giving fans a clear look at her dazzling new ring, while Jett – son of Iron Man legend Grant Kenny and Olympic swimmer Lisa Curry – looked completely smitten.
The announcement sparked a wave of congratulations from family, friends and fans alike. Lisa Curry gushed: “Ohhhh my boy and the love of his life. I am beyond blessed and excited for your future together Jett and Lily. I love you both so much.”
Tammy Hembrow chimed in with: “Effing love you so much,” while Ellidy Pullin commented: “Love this so much.” Michelle Battersby added her joy, writing: “Omg yay Lilly!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ so happy for you guys xxxx.”
While the pair haven’t revealed exactly when the proposal took place, Lily later shared on Instagram Stories that it had been over a week ago, posting a glowing snap of the couple in front of Rome’s Trevi Fountain, her engagement ring proudly on display.
“Thank you all so much for the comments, texts, etc. We are so overwhelmed with the love!” she wrote. “We are very much in the bubble rn – such a whirlwind of a week. Genuinely have been waking up every day since it happened thinking it was a dream.”
The engagement is the latest milestone for Jett and Lily, who confirmed their romance in December 2022 after weeks of speculation. The couple made their relationship public with matching New Year’s Eve Instagram posts – Jett writing “To the future” and Lily teasing “You’d be a tough one to keep a secret.”
Since then, the pair have gone from strength to strength, even stepping into the world of reality TV together. Now, with a sparkling ring and a wave of love surrounding them, it seems the future is brighter than ever for Jett and Lily.
