A decade after their departure from Summer Bay, fan-favourite characters Brax and Ricky are set to return to Home And Away.
The relationship between Brax, played by Stephen Peacocke, and Ricky, portrayed by Bonnie Sveen, remains one of the long-running soap’s most popular arcs.
The couple last appeared on the series 10 years ago, leaving the Bay together in a farewell that kept fans holding out hope for a return.
Their return will explore where life has taken one of Summer Bay’s most well-known couples, with the show venturing beyond its usual setting for a series of episodes filmed across Western Australia.
Production took place last October, spanning locations from Perth to the red outback and the Coral Coast, in partnership with Tourism Western Australia.
The storyline reveals that Brax has left his former life behind and is now working on a remote cattle station deep in the outback.
He, Ricky and their son Casey, played by Austin Cutcliffe, have established a new life in isolation, far removed from the turmoil they once experienced in Summer Bay.
That sense of stability is threatened when a crisis from the Bay reaches Brax, forcing him to confront unresolved ties to his past.
While Ricky is wary of putting their hard-won peace at risk, Brax struggles with the pull of loyalty to his former River Boys brothers.
The episodes will examine whether those ties are strong enough to disrupt the family’s carefully protected life away from Summer Bay.
Brax and Ricky will return as part of Home And Away’s Western Australia event, coming soon to Seven and 7plus.
