Home and Away star Luke Jacobz and partner Raychel have welcomed their second child together – a baby boy.
The actor, best known for playing Angelo Rosetta on the show, took to Instagram to share their happy news, with photos of their newborn son and older sister Maisie among them.
“On Monday, our little family of three grew a little bigger and we are all so in love already. Welcome my baby boy John James Scott,” Luke wrote.
“We named him after my Dad, Raychel’s Dad and uncle. Named after the men who helped shape both our lives so their legacy can live on.”
The 37-year-old star added that their newborn was conceived naturally following years of IVF treatments.
“Raychel, your bravery, love, true grit and determination to give our Maisie a best friend for life is nothing short of incredible,” Jacobz wrote about his wife.
“I saw such strength in you that I never thought possible, I love you with my heart and my soul and promise to teach our boy to be kind, caring, protective and loving. He will carry the legacy of the great men he is named after.”
He then went on to write a message to his newborn son, saying: “Little Johnny, JJ… I am so proud to be your Dad, you and I will have the most wonderful adventure together, we are going to love and support your mum and sister, because I know they love you so much already.
“I love you Raychel, thank you for giving me the honour to be your babies’ Dad.”
Luke’s friends were quick to congratulate the couple on the newest addition to their family.
“Congratulations! So happy for you all,” Melissa Doyle wrote.
“Hugest congratulations to you all,” Joh Griggs added. “Huge congratulations mate! Beautiful news! Enjoy the love bubble.”
