Former NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet and his wife Helen have welcomed their eighth child together.
The couple shared the name of their baby boy, James Fulton Thomas Perrottet, born last week in the United States.
James’ middle name is believed to be a nod to Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, a prominent American Catholic figure.
Now a family of 10, James is the youngest of eight siblings, who range in age from four to 16.
Perrottet and his family relocated to Washington DC, after he secured an executive role with mining giant BHP.
He has since been appointed as the company’s vice president of international affairs and US.
Helen is a lawyer who previously worked in the military and with the Australian Federal Police.
The new arrival comes as the former premier continues to his transition from politics to an international corporate role.
