Channel Nine star Tracy Vo has welcomed her first child, a beautiful baby girl, with husband Liam Connolly, at the age of 41.

The Perth-based news presenter announced the news on Monday night, with a photo of herself posing with her husband while cradling their newborn bub and the caption: “Mila Anh Connolly has finally entered our world. She arrived last Thursday, October 2.”

“Hopefully she’s inherited a bit of Liam’s height!” she continued.

Many of the presenter’s friends took to the comments to share their support.

“Many warm and hearty congratulations to the three of you! Welcome to the world Mila – you have perfect parents!” wrote Sky News journalist Peter Stefanovic.

“Beautiful news. Congratulations!” added Australian model Rebecca Judd.

“Congratulations guys and welcome Mila,” Today show weatherman Tim Davies added.

The happy news comes after Vo suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage at five months of pregnancy in September 2024.

At the time, she shared a heartbreaking tribute and photograph of her baby boy’s handprints and footprints, alongside a toy bunny and hat.

“I carried you for 5 months, but you just weren’t meant for this world,” she shared on Instagram.

“We named you James Connolly. You arrived at 4:20pm August 15, 2024. You were perfect with the cutest button nose and gorgeous little lips. Our hearts are broken, but we have found comfort knowing you are at peace. Mum and dad love you so much.”

A few months later, they announced Vo’s pregnancy with Mila, sharing a series of photos from their babymoon.

“We had some extra baggage during our Vietnam adventure,” she wrote alongside a photo of her baby bump in May 2025.

She then went on to say their “rainbow baby is due in Spring.”

Vo, who is also a stepmother to Liam’s six-year-old daughter Sophia, added: “We can’t wait to meet our baby girl and Sophia is excited to be a big sister. We know our boy James is looking after his little sister already.”
